Essential Duties and Responsibilities for RN Supervisor:
  • Assesses patients by physical examination including diagnostic testing to determine health status.
  • Administer medication and treatments
  • Participates in care planning and oversees the implementation of the plan
  • Communicate with physicians regarding changes in condition
  • Documents nurse assessments and care
  • Educates patients and families in nursing care
  • Supervises the nursing department

Requirements of a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor :
  • Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Prior experience as an RN supervisor in a long term care setting
