Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Full Time Nights

We're looking for qualified Telemetry RN's to join our Texas Health family. Is that you?

Work location: Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N Dallas Parkway TX 75033

Work hours: Full Time Nights (7pm-7am) Weekend and holiday requirements

Telemetry Unit Department highlights:

• Acute Telemetry unit - fast paced, supportive team environment

• Experience with telemetry, acute care cases

• swing-bed unit based on acuity level

Here's What You Need:

Education
Nursing Diploma Nursing Req Or
Associate's Degree Nursing Req Or
Bachelor's Degree Nursing Pref

Experience
1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program Req

1-2 years Telemetry experience preferred in acute hospital setting

Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req And
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req

Skills
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do:

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

• Assesses the patient

• Plans the care of the patient

• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions

• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information

• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
