The role you'll contribute:

2/28/22 Performs radiographic imaging procedures. Positions, moves, and transports patients. Performs clerical duties. Assists Radiologist in performance of special imaging procedures. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards. Responsibility to adhere to the AdventHealth's Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Performs radiographic imaging procedures. Positions patient and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist's standards, in a safe, timely manner. Processes radiographs, with correct patient demographic and examination information

• Uses computer to enter and access patient information correctly and change procedure status and billing.

• Performs clerical duties, including answering telephones, completing patient record, filing and scheduling. Utilizes department computer system as needed for patient record keeping and scheduling.

• Transports, lifts, moves, and position patients as needed to properly and safely complete Radiographs, to assist others to and from, as well as within the department or to assist patient movement.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an A.R.R.T. approved radiographic program with current A.R.R.T. registration and Florida General License.

• No previous experience for entry level position. Experience required before working unattended or high volume shifts without supervision.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an A.R.R.T. approved radiographic program with current A.R.R.T. registration and Florida General License.

• BLS certification required
