Schedule: Full Time

Shift : 7:00PM - 7:00AM, 36 hrs/Week. The days vary each week. Rotating Weekends.

Location: 501 Redmond Road, Rome, GA 30165

• In addition to its public-school system, it has several private schools. Higher-level educational institutions include private Berry College and Shorter University, and the public Georgia Northwestern Technical College and Georgia Highlands College.

• Largest city near the center of the triangular area defined by the Interstate highways between Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, and Chattanooga, TN.

The role you'll contribute:

Assesses patient's pulmonary status and makes recommendations to the nurse, physician, therapist, interdisciplinary team; performs routine and critical care respiratory care procedures; oversees the work of Respiratory Care staff during their assigned shift.

• Critical thinking and patient assessment skill with the ability to evaluate a plan of care

• Effective oral and written communication skills, including documentation in the patient care record and use of computer skills

• Airway management skills which may include insertion and maintenance of a patent airway and care of artificial airways

• Ability to provide optimal respiratory support including administration of oxygen, inhaled medications, lung expansion and bronchial hygiene.

• Ability to appropriately operate and manage non-invasive, invasive and advanced modes of mechanical ventilation

• Ability to perform ABG draws, and analysis

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

• Current Georgia RCP License

• Graduate of an accredited school in Respiratory Therapy
