Your role

Are you interested in strengthening the approach to regulatory relations? Are you comfortable juggling multiple topics, meetings and projects? We're looking for someone like this to:

• provide strong analytical and business management support to the US Regulatory Affairs (RA) team related to regulatory reviews, key supervisory themes, and issue management
• assist with preparation of briefing materials for UBS senior management in advance of regulatory meetings
• oversee and maintain internal inventory of regulatory deliverables by utilizing internal data sources and coordinate with relevant owners on remediation timelines and data capture
• coordinate with global RAR teams, including submitting relevant US updates for global meetings and MIS reports, and providing US input to globally coordinated efforts
• ensure timely delivery and tracking of regulatory reports by utilizing GRR (Global Regulatory Relations) tools. Work closely with our global counterparts to ensure we have a holistic view of the regulatory meetings and flow of information/letters that are being sent and received
• assist with logistics coordination including scheduling regulatory meetings and ad-hoc tasks

Your team

You will be working in the Regulatory Relations team in New York. We aim to maintain sound relations with the US Regulators as they supervise UBS's Business Operations.

Your expertise

•ideally, 2-3 years of experience in financial services; knowledge of or experience dealing with US regulations is a strong plus
• strong project management skills with high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint a plus
• the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with members of the management team and other colleagues across the bank

You are:
• extremely organized, focused and detail-orientated and as such will always deliver accurate work within the agreed time frame
• capable of working under pressure in a time sensitive environment
