Rehab Tech- Long Term Care Facility

Skilled Nursing Facility located in Garland, TX, is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Rehab Technician.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Transport patients as scheduled to and from treatment area.

2. Perform assigned clerical duties.

3. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the treatment area and department.

4. Assist with maintaining an adequate stock of supplies and equipment.

5. Assists with treatment set-up and break-down under the direction of licensed Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist as allowed by Fiscal Intermediary.

6. Participate in department, facility and Daily and Weekly Clinical Care Management Meetings as indicated.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma
• CNA preferred
• Training as a Rehabilitation Technician and completion of job orientation.
• Certification as a Nurse Aide (CNA) preferable, not required.
• Must be able to relate positively to patients, patient's family members, and facility staff.
