About the role

As a CBRE Reliability Engineer, you will monitor, analyze, and resolve system and infrastructure problems of critical operational systems. Additionally, responsible for the CMMS technology, data integrity, and the applications support, evaluation, and training at the headquarters facility.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

This is an onsite opportunity in Indianapolis, IN.

What you'll do

Define, design, develop, monitor, and refine an asset's maintenance plan. Provide technical support to the site for mechanical equipment and fixed assets.

Responsible for CMMS technology (SAP), data integrity, and the applications support, evaluation, and training

Work with engineering and operations teams to perform the evaluation of assets.

Develop risk management plans that will anticipate reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operations.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and restore routine technical service and equipment problems.

Ensure all established policies and procedures are maintained. Maintain documentation of routine maintenance schedules, system configurations, applications, and technical reference materials.

Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide solutions.

Add/modify new and existing users and assets to CMMS system

Build PMs schedules for equipment based on manufacturer recommendations

Define, develop, monitor and refine asset maintenance plans that includes beneficial preventative maintenance tasks, effective utilization of predictive maintenance, etc.

Exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.

Drive efficiencies around planning and scheduling functions that reduce work order backlog and optimize critical asset job plans.

What you'll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience, GED or equivalent experience, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new point of view on existing solutions.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with problem-solving ability.
  • In depth knowledge of work order management software (SAP Preferred) and Microsoft Office applications; examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
