Become part of TI Advanced Technology Development organization that focuses on state-of-the-art semiconductor technology development. We are looking for a highly motivated PhD student to work under supervision of our experienced technology development team. Your role involves characterization and modeling of semiconductor device and interconnect/dielectric reliability mechanisms.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :
  • Electrical characterization of device test structures in advanced analog technology nodes
  • Thermal modeling of self-heating effects and understand long term drift effects.
  • Program electrical test equipment to perform reliability measurements


Minimum Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or related
  • Minimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in semiconductor device characterization, testing, and modeling
  • Familiarity with instrument programming, MATLAB and TCAD simulations are desirable
  • Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, back end of line processes or interconnect, dielectric reliability
  • Strong analytical and programming skills (C, MATLAB etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
