Insight Global is seeking a fully remote Automation Engineer. You will design, analyze, program, debug, troubleshoot, and modify software applications for enhancements and new products. Other duties include formulating and defining system scope and objectives for assigned projects combining knowledge and disciplines of all aspects of a computing system (e.g., program stack, memory management, cpu, i/o, and networking utilization, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation) and developing and/or maintaining advanced knowledge of computing system integration. You will make recommendations or decisions on software and hardware configurations and developments.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as an automation engineer or a similar role.

Strong knowledge and skills in automation tools and technologies, such as Ansible, Digital Rebar, Python, and GitHub.

Knowledge of client OS and BIOS fundamentals.

Prometheus and Grafana experience preferred.

Experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying automation solutions for various processes and systems, such as web applications, databases, networks, infrastructure, and bare-metal workstations.
