Insight Global is looking for a Building Automation Engineer with HVAC controls programming experience. Will need to be able to program HVAC hardware from scratch within a BAS software (Many different brands out there). This engineer will support our large HVAC customer in support of their large datacenter customers around the US. In order to be able to sit remote, this person will need to be able to clearly understand a sequence of operation for various HVAC equipment and be able to then program that equipment within a BAS/BMS (building automation or building management system) to run properly. Will need to ensure that the hardware and software are running in accordance to the sequence. Mechanical or Electrical engineering background preferred.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors or Associates degree in an engineering field
- HVAC equipment understanding (can read and interpret a sequence of operation or layout)
- Willing to travel 10% of the time if necessary- the more senior level candidates will go onsite less often
- Building automation programming experience in either Metasys or Tridium or another brand (brand does not matter)
