A client in the Franklin, TN area is looking to hire a Remote Sr Cloud Security Engineer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and operating cloud security solutions and controls to address the current and emerging security and compliance needs of the business. The engineer will serve as a cloud security expert, integrating sound practices from Identity and Access management, monitoring, platform standards, network segmentation and interconnection, encryption, and more into the cloud platforms. The engineer will contribute to technology decisions to reflect approved security architectures, business impact and exposures, emerging threats, vulnerabilities, regulatory requirements, and risks

Required Skills & Experience

3+ Years IT security experience

1+ year of Cloud experience - GCP preferred

Experience designing and implementing technologies within cloud platforms

Strong communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CNAP experience

CISSP, CCSP, or GCSA
