Apex Systems is looking for aContract Analyst, to join our fast growing Financial Services Client.
Job Description

• We are actively seeking a Contract Analyst - Vendor Management. The Contract Analyst - Vendor Management will ensure all Third Party relationships are compliant with all applicable corporate, state, federal and regulatory requirements with a focus on Federal consumer financial laws.

Mandatory Skills

• The successful candidate should have an understanding of the Credit Card Industry both operations and regulatory; participate in meetings and understand the requirements discussed; translate requirements into legal documents; review/analyze current contracts and recommend efficiencies and opportunities;
• Ensure company standards are met which includes: Collect and evaluate upfront and ongoing due diligence on Third Parties.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with key Business partners.
• Manage the complete contract lifecycle from negotiation, initial drafting, Business, Legal and other stakeholder approval, execution, and ongoing compliance.
• Assist Legal with review of Third Party contract templates to ensure the inclusion of OneMain provisions.
• Perform annual contract reviews and facilitate any necessary renewals for Third Party Vendors as well as amendments or terminations as required.
• Maintain appropriate documentation/approvals on file.
• Ensure agreements contain appropriate service levels, quality and security standards, performance metrics and financial penalties/incentives as required.
• Ensure corporate requirements are met by facilitating necessary documentation and reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• The service provider must be a member in good standing of at least one US state bar or have earned a Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• An experienced Paralegal would be considered if the background and job experience is appropriate.
• Appropriate knowledge and understanding of the credit card space operationally and regulatory.
• Ability to review/translate and negotiate contract documents.
• This position will be remote.
• Vendor managers find the best vendor deals, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong vendor relationships while representing the company.
• Vendor managers interact with a variety of vendors, speaking with people of all ages and backgrounds.
• The service provider must be a member in good standing of at least one US state bar or have earned a Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
