Overview

The US Oncology Network is looking for a full-time Manager of Digital Health to join our team at Texas Oncology! This is a REMOTE position, but it is strongly preferred the selected candidate resides in Texas.

What does the Manager of Digital Health do?

The Manager of Digital Health is responsible for implementing and managing digital health initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care, streamlining processes, and integrating innovative technologies. The Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation, ensuring the effective use of technology to optimize healthcare delivery. Additionally, this role will navigate partnerships across Texas Oncology, US Oncology and McKesson. Ensures compliance with all necessary and applicable regulatory standards and requirements.Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Project Management:
    • Lead digital health projects from conception to execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
    • Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to implement and integrate digital solutions, such as electronic health records (EHR), telemedicine platforms, and mobile health applications.
  • Data Management and Analytics:
    • Oversee data collection, analysis, and utilization to drive insights for improving patient outcomes and operational performance.
    • Implement data privacy and security measures in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrators, and external partners to ensure alignment and successful adoption of digital health initiatives.
    • Conduct training sessions to educate staff on new technologies and processes.
  • Evaluation and Optimization:
    • Monitor the effectiveness of digital health programs through metrics and feedback mechanisms.
    • Continuously optimize systems and processes to enhance usability and efficiency.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the position will have the following background and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Five (5) years of proven experience in healthcare technology, digital health management, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and experience ensuring compliance.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., Health Information Technology, Project Management) are a plus.
