Insight Global is looking for a .Net Enterprise Architect to join one of their premiere local Insurance clients in Des Moines. This individual will be primarily supporting the enterprise architecture and ensuring the system architecture design is aligned to best support the organizations business initiatives. This architect with need to exemplify strong communication skills as they will be collaborating with business partners and understanding different projects and initiatives and then will be providing solutions based on their plans. They will be driving planning and execution of application roadmaps and technology enhancements. This person will be developing, maintaining, documenting and governing on-prem as well as cloud application architecture. The team will be empowered to drive cloud technology and innovation for the organization. This role will be working across the entire IT space and will participate in a paired programming environment.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of professional Information Technology experience.
3+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect.
5 years of experience hands on experience migrating to AWS cloud.
Can confidently partner with business stakeholders to understand business objectives and lead modeling.
Experience with low/no code workflow automation and IPaaS solutions. For example: Boomi, Unqork, Zapier, etc.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Mobile development experience
Experience reading VB6 (Visual Basic 6) or COBOL
