A large casino is looking for a Principal Network Engineer to join their engineering team! This person will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructures. Responsibilities of this person will involve both technical expertise and managerial skills. The primary focus of this person will be on managing a bunch of tool sets that the casino has including validating security tool sets. On a day to day this person will be evaluating new products, validating configurations before they go into production, replacing distribution switches, working with firewalls, and more. They are looking for someone with the ability to mentor other engineers as well as demonstrate communication skills.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience as a network engineer
Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, multicast) within a Cisco network environment
Vulnerability management experience within tenable or Qualys
Strong experience with firewalls and firewall configuration within Cisco and Palo Alto

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Scripting and programming skills (python)
Familiarity with Splunk and SPL
Troubleshooting experience
