Job Description:
Insight Global is looking for a Python Developer to sit at one of our top financial services clients. This candidate will be a key player to the implementation and support of the company's re-balancing platform. This will involve the implementation of re-balancing methodologies using python as well as improving the platform's overall framework. The candidate should actively evaluate new products and technologies to build solutions that can streamline business operations. The candidate must be a team-oriented, delivery-focused person. S/he will be part of Agile technology team in a global organization comprising of DEV/QA/PO teams. You will work with internal stakeholders on user stories and support integrations to other S&P internal systems. Daily responsibilities include; design and development of Python applications deployed to AWS cloud services, coding, documentation, testing, de-bugging & level 2 support, etc.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications:
8+ years of Python development experience in an enterprise environment.
8+ years of Object-Oriented Programming experience in Python.
Experience utilizing docker for containerization.
Previous experience using open-sourced Python library tools like Pandas and NumPy

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Nice to Have:
Previous experience working within financial services.
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Masters degree in Statistics or relevant fields.
Ability to understand statistical functions like Delta Functions and Z-score.
