REMOTE Sr ServiceNow Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (SSE) to join our IT program in Washington, DC. The SSE will play a crucial role in mapping, documenting, and analyzing the customer's current applications to modernize their architectural environment. This role involves both individual and team-based database analysis and design.
- Map and document existing applications and workflows to prepare for legacy application and data migration to platforms like ServiceNow and Salesforce.
- Provide ongoing software development and consulting services to the customer.
- Develop, maintain, customize, distribute, and manage system configurations; provide emergency response and testing.
- Create and maintain user and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors Degree +8 years experience, additional exp can be considered in lieu of a degree
- Proficiency with Oracle DBA, Oracle 19c, Oracle Application Express, JavaScript, and Adobe Experience Manager for creating fillable dynamic forms.
- Experience with 508 QC testing using JAWs and other 508 tools.
- Strong SQL and PL-SQL skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and briefings for senior management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in aligning internal and external customer and subcontractor stakeholders to achieve agency goals.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level solutions with software development tools.
- Proven ability to build effective customer relationships.
- Senior-level experience with XML/Oracle DB bi-directional transformations, scripted data validation, and PL/SQL-based DB triggers, functions, and packaged procedures.
