This position reports to

VP Americas Customer Services

Your role and responsibilities

Follow all Safety, Integrity and Quality processes including verbal guidance Provide highest level of Customer Service by delivering quality, timely repairs and providing collaborative positive communication with internal stake holders Achieve and maintain required competencies for scope of product supported Provide collaborative, positive feedback as a participant weekly repair meetings to support repairs in process, identifying issues and resolving to provide minimal customer impact Follow defined processes (Eval, Repair and Validation) without deviation. If an inconsistency is found, provide feedback to direct manager and support resolution Support projects to improve repair center efficiency i.e., Process Changes, BOL, FSL, Master Data, Repair Schedule, etc as defined by management Support profitability in repairs Validate warranty requests, ensure costing is accurate for repairs including accurate parts and labor reporting Ensure materials meet highest standards, i.e. if refurbished is an option, ensure pre defined test criteria has been met through appropriate record keeping means Any additional housekeeping, maintenance, operational or administrative tasks as required or directed by supervisor

Qualifications for the role

  • High School Diploma
  • More than 2 years of mechanical or electrical production or repair experience
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
