The Reporting/Business Analyst will conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning. They support short and long term operational/strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing, and maintaining operational information and models. They also develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business data integrity.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepares reports to assess team's performance, trending analysis, headcount reports, attrition, inventory, etc.
  • Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
  • Uses pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of proficiency
  • Investigates non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others
  • Evaluates business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
  • Leads ongoing reviews of business processes and develops optimization strategies
  • Stays up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
  • Conducts meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
  • Documents and communicates the results of efforts
  • Gathers critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produces useful reports
  • Works closely with business partners and leadership
  • Ensures solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Performs user acceptance testing
  • Manages projects, develops project plans, and monitors performance
  • Updates, implement, and maintains procedures
  • Prioritizes initiatives based on business needs and requirements
  • Serves as a liaison between stakeholders and users
  • Monitors deliverables and ensures timely completion of projects

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning
  • Reporting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and competency in other Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook and Power Point
  • Bilingual Spanish and English
  • Ability to work 40 hours / week during standard business operating hours Monday - Friday from 7am - 7:00pm It may be necessary to work occasional overtime and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with Quest Diagnostics platforms such as: QC App, BFE & PEGA
  • PowerBI experience
  • Tableau experience
  • Healthcare knowledge
  • Proven planning skills (capacity, logistics)
