Job Description

The Community Relations Director reports directly to the CEO. Establishes and implements strategies necessary to increase public awareness of Dorminy Medical Center which maintain and enhance community attitudes of confidence, respect and support. Responsible for the development and implementation of business and marketing plans for the facility and DMC physician clinics. Establishes strategic marketing plans to achieve the facility's objectives. Develops and manages the marketing department's operating budget. Participates and maintains performance improvement activities to assure the highest standards of care.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing, MBA in Marketing preferred.
• Three to five years experience in marketing and public or community relations.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Excellent presentation skills. Additional languages preferred. Excellent skills in forecasting, market-based planning, market research techniques and marketing communication. Excellent interpersonal skills. Public relations experience. Basic computer knowledge.
