The essential job responsibilities of the Research Analyst Contractor will report to District Supervisor. Research and process calls from contractors, builders and other customers concerning billing/ service inquiries: make adjustments to customers' accounts; maintain builder charger program and builder service website: and prepare written letters. Prepare letters and provide information to requesting customers concerning billings, services, etc. Make billing adjustments, refund credit balances and deposits, investigate service orders, and update credit histories as required. Maintain various records such as Street Index Book, work procedures, operating codes, builder's database: service policy manuals: rate schedules, etc.: prepare/ process reports. Within qualified parameters, grant extensions on bills, issue connects, disconnects, trouble, survey, and maintenance orders: process construction loans. Make adjustments to customers' accounts due to double billing errors and exempt charges; prepare debit or credit adjustments as required. Research and answer complaints from Division departments, builders, customers, etc. Enter/ retrieve data utilizing computer and builder services webpage on MLGW website. Keep abreast of Division changes in policies and procedures. Make referrals to appropriate departments or personnel after screening. Perform other duties as directed.

Qualification Requirements:
To perform the Research Analyst Contractor role, you must: -Must pass Division's typing test of 40 w.p.m. -Knowledge/ skills in expediting/ routing work requests, customer payment processing and utility construction practices and procedures. -Knowledge/ skills in customer information and management support systems. -Must successfully complete Placement/ Performance Exercises and Customer Contact Test.

Physical Working Conditions: Requires sedentary work involving standing or walking for brief periods, exerting up to 10 pounds or more of force on a regular basis.
