Job Description
An internal grant funded research associate position is available. Dr. Joseph M. Forbess at the University of Maryland Medical Center is seeking a research associate with an interest in murine microsurgery. The candidate would work closely with Dr. Forbess as well as multiple post-doctoral fellows and other research associates in the study of solid organ transplants.
Previous experience in murine microsurgery is a plus but techniques can be taught upon arrival in the laboratory as well.

Qualifications
He or she would be expected to dedicate the majority of their time to murine lung, heart or other solid organ transplants and would be expected to work well as part of a large team investigating methods of tolerance induction, graft rejection as well as ischemia/reperfusion injury
