Piper Companies is looking for a Research Associate II to join a pre-clinical organization focusing on in vivo models of human diseases located in Rockville, MD . The Research Associate II will perform flow cytometry and other immunological assays.

Responsibilities of the Research Associate II include:

• Plan and perform cell-based assays of animal samples
• Conduct multicolor flow cytometric assays using spectral and conventional flow cytometry
• Follow and carry out SOPs for the operation of standard laboratory equipment
• Process blood and tissue for in vitro assays
• Analyze and interpret experimental data

Qualifications for the Research Associate II include:

• 3+ years of flow cytometry experience
• Immunoassay experience (ELISA, ELISpot, Luminex)
• Experience working with pre-clinical samples is preferred
• B.S./M.S. in Life Sciences

Compensation for the Research Associate II includes:

• Salary/Rate Range: $30 - $38 Per Hour depending on experience
