Job Description:
Immunomonitoring
• Develop and enforce immunomonitoring pipelines, applying techniques such as flow cytometry and
next-generation sequencing.
• Formulate and manage compliance of comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the
clinical immunomonitoring processes.
• Preserve laboratory infrastructure to ensure that equipment, supplies, and facilities are in optimal
condition.
• Supervise the day-to-day tasks of personnel engaged in clinical immunomonitoring activities.

Laboratory and Personnel administration and management
•Monitor the budget and fiscal operations within the laboratory in collaboration with department
administrative, finance, and human resources staff
• Lead the team with a focus on effective management, fostering team unity, and ensure the best
practices for laboratory operations are met
• Manage the laboratory's infrastructure, equipment, and supplies to guarantee ideal operational status.
• Supervise personnel onboarding and ongoing training, ensuring compliance with required programs
and certifications.
• In collaboration with the department's finance and administrative office to ensure grants are managed in
accordance with established guidelines and department and university rules and regulations.
• Optimize resource allocation to effectively meet research goals and objectives.

Laboratory Compliance and Data Integrity
• Develop and manage PCI2 SOPs while ensuring adherence to them.
• Review Laboratory Notebooks meticulously to confirm clear, comprehensive documentation for
reproducibility and audits.
• Validate the accuracy and proper analysis of data in Laboratory Notebooks, maintaining research
integrity.
• Collaborate with statisticians to safeguard data integrity.
• Maintain compliance with DEA licenses, and IBC, IACUC, and IRB regulations.

Additional Duties
• Undertake other tasks as necessary to support the laboratory group's mission and operational needs.

Expected Salary:

$108,528-$122,564

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree in an appropriate area and seven years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Degree in a Biological or Medical field.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing laboratory operations, corporate biotech environments, or core
facility services.
• Proven proficiency in securing and managing funds, budgeting, and financial oversight within a
research framework.
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with flow cytometry and Next Generation Sequencing
(NGS) technologies.
• Practical experience in the development or application of immunotherapeutic strategies.
• Exceptional collaborative skills complemented by a track record of fostering teamwork and mentoring
researchers at all levels.
• A strong alignment with the laboratory's strategic direction and a commitment to advancing its long-term
objectives.
