We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2024. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Turn your ambitions into reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at TikTok.

This Internship Program runs for 10-24 weeks. Candidates can also apply for both Off-cycle Intern position and Program Intern position.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting development and research on cutting-edge CV, NLP, multi-modal topics
- Following SoTA progress in relevant fields and come up with novel ideas to improve based on current best approach.
- Propose novel ideas to solve research problems and develop models to validate the ideas.

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing PHD degree
- Graduating December 2024 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related fields
- Experience in one of more areas of computer vision, natural language processing and machine learning, preferring candidates with publications in top-tier venues such as SIGGRAPH, SIGGRAPH Asia, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR
- Solid knowledge and experience with at least one major deep learning framework (e.g. PyTorch, Tensorflow, MXNet).
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
