Overview
The Ashare Lab at DHMC seeks to hire a new postdoctoral research fellow to support the growing NIH and CF Foundation-funded research portfolio. This postdoctoral position will seek applicants with a background in Immunology, Microbiology or Cell Biology, including but not limited to cellular metabolism or host-pathogen interactions. The successful candidate will contribute to research that supports multiple active NIH and CFF funded projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee the implementation of experiments and project activities.

Train and supervise research assistants, students, and others as required.

Monitor grant activitie, funding, and expenditures.

Oversee data management and manuscript preparation and presentations of specific projects.

Assist in proposal writing.

Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• PhD in a related field required
• All requirements for degree, including dissertation defense, must be completed prior to start date.
• Must exhibit excellent quantitative skills as well as good English writing and verbal skills
