Job Description:
Organize and Manage Proposal Writing Teams and Proposal Writing Efforts
- Advise Principal Investigator(s) (PI's) on the most effective way to achieve an effective, quality proposal.
- Review and understand proposal guidelines and requirements.
- Coordinate and organize proposal team meetings.
- Create proposal writing timelines and division of responsibilities across investigators and team members.
- Compile, write, or edit components (particularly institutional data and standard descriptions) of a proposal submission as appropriate.
- Coordinate a timely submission process, ensuring all necessary approvals and documents.
- Create, organize and curate proposal writing resources and templates for use by HWCOE faculty and staff
- Identify and document institutional, state, and national resources available to HWCOE faculty and staff to strengthen proposals submissions
- Maintain a list and network of effective grant writers, graphic designers, and proposal coordinators that may be available for HWCOE faculty and staff to engage with
- Track key, signature programs (e.g., NSF Engineering Research Center, Materials Research Science and Engineering Centers, etc) and ensure HWCOE has engaged teams pursuing such programs
- Stay abreast of new funding and collaboration opportunities.
