We are looking for a highly specialized Research Specialist with an MD and experience in clinical bioinformatics and single-cell analysis. The applicant will help develop new methods and technologies for HIV research advancement. Research experience in single-cell analysis and virology are preferred.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Use bioinformatics platforms to support clinical research in virology
2. Perform statistical analysis and interpretation of the data.
3. Contributes to scientific literature, reports, journals and presentations.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MS degree or equivalent education in scientific field of research required. M.D. preferred
• Five to seven years of direct research experience.

SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

• Strong research design and analytical skills.

• Strong database statistical skills.

• In-depth knowledge of field of research.

• Excellent time management/organizational skills.

• Strong written and verbal presentation skills.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversight of research assistants.
