Associate's Degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Two [2] years of full time experience directly related to the project or program.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in microscopic image analyses. Experience in field sampling coastal ecosystems. Experience in pigment analyses. Experience in microscopic quantification of plankton.
Brief Description of Duties:
The Research Technician will assist in the Gobler Laboratory, working with laboratory and field research focused on harmful algae blooms. They will assist with specific ongoing water quality monitoring and associated sample analysis. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

- Perform field sampling of coastal ecosystems.
- Perform image analysis of plankton samples.
- Analyze data from image analyses. Compile reports and data.
- Perform microscopic analyses of plankton samples.
- Other duties as assigned.
