Research Technician-PRN

JOB SUMMARY:

The Research Technician is responsible for assisting with routine laboratory procedures, specifically computer data entry and updating of quality management files for the laboratory, as needed.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:
• Responsible for assisting with routine lab procedures check-in/accessioning of cultures, computer data entry including quality management.
• Faxing, emailing, and answering the phone
• Other duties as assigned.

ACCOMPANYING KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES:

Adheres to safe working practices, regulations and accreditation of the department.

Experience with lab computers and software.

Good communication skills both written and verbal.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
