Join Our Team as a Reservations Sales Agent at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines!

As a Reservations Sales Agent, you will be the voice of our beautiful resort, connecting with prospective guests over the phone and through email. Your role is crucial in setting the stage for an exceptional stay by providing professional and proficient service. You’ll be the expert on our resort’s accommodations and amenities, sparking excitement and anticipation for our guests’ upcoming visits.

What You’ll Do:

• Create Memorable First Impressions: Accurately make room reservations, understand guests’ needs, and communicate their requests to the appropriate departments.

• Maximize Revenue: Promote and implement revenue optimization strategies to enhance our resort’s financial performance.

• Ensure Accuracy: Generate and audit daily reservations reports to ensure all details are correct and ready for our guests.

• Deliver Exceptional Service: Use your sales training to provide top-notch call quality, maximizing both revenue and guest satisfaction.

• Enhance Guest Experiences: Encourage guests to explore all our resort has to offer, from amenities to dining options, helping to achieve our ancillary revenue goals.

• Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with all resort offerings, promotions, and policy changes to provide accurate information to guests.

• Handle Challenges Gracefully: Address and resolve any guest issues with patience and professionalism, ensuring their satisfaction.

• Upsell with Confidence: Use your sales techniques to position our offerings effectively, helping guests make informed decisions that enhance their stay.

• Follow Up: Complete lead forms for new reservations and make outbound calls to ensure all guest needs are met.

• Must live within 250 miles of Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa
• Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Must have excellent listening and communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work well under pressure and multi-task
• Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
• Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guest
• Minimum 1 year of hotel experience required. Reservations and/or Front Office experience preferred
• Previous experience of Hyatt reservations systems (Reserve, Opera) is highly preferred
• Must be able to type 45 wpm and have excellent communication skills
