Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Residences Housekeeper to join the Residences Team at this gorgeous Atlanta property!



Located in one of Atlanta's most prestigious neighborhoods, this 42-story tower has over 200 rooms (127 guest rooms plus residences), over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes the 3-meal restaurant, bar, and in-room dining.

Classification: Full-Time

Shift: Full Availability - must have availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.



The Residence Housekeeper is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the private residences that they are assigned to clean. The Residence Housekeeper is equally responsible for delivering all of the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta-Buckhead service standards.



Organizational Structure



The Residences Housekeeper will report directly to the Director of Residences.



Duties and Supporting Responsibilities

  • Offer a warm, sincere and personalized welcome to all Residents.
  • Exhibits courtesy and respect to residents at all times.
  • Accepts direction and follows through without complaint.
  • Prompt communication of repair needs and safety issues.
  • Possess a positive and outgoing personality
  • Must possess a good written and verbal command of the English Language
  • Minimum of two years previous housekeeping experience as a room attendant.
  • Attention to detail is very important.
  • Professional appearance and grooming.


1. Residences Cleanliness and Tidiness:

  • Residences are cleaned and maintained up to the exact standard as demonstrated by Housekeeping supervisory staff during initial training.
  • Thoroughly clean Residences' bathrooms, bathroom walls, bathtub, shower staff, water closet using the suggested chemicals. After cleaning, dry all areas, fixtures and surfaces.
  • Arrange all toiletries straightened on a piece of cloth in bathroom.
  • Replenish all amenities and terry items.
  • Efficiently make bed to meet appearance standard as demonstrated.
  • Arrange all clothing items in residents' bedrooms are folded neatly according to standard as demonstrated.
  • Upkeep Residences to include all inside windows and mirrors.
  • Remove all room service trays from Residence hallways and/or corridor to be brought to back landings and call for pick up.
  • Vacuum the residences' carpet and wipe down furniture and baseboards according to standard in all assigned work areas.
  • Ensure all service standards are executed.


2. Residence equipment and facilities:

  • Recognize and report all missing, damaged or sub-standard furniture, fixtures and equipment via HOTSOS iPod touch.
  • Ensure that all electronic devices (television, remote controls, stereo, and telephones) are working properly.


3. Residences' Requests Handling:

  • Evaluate work assignment and prioritize workload according to residence requests.
  • Ensure all residences assigned are completed with correct status marked at the end of the day including any information for input into resident history file.
