Resilience Lead Markets Vice President

As a Barclays Resilience Lead Markets Vice President (VP), you will oversee and protect the bank's resilience through governance of the resilience risk position. This is an opportunity to deliver through driving the governance agenda for resilience through its scope as well as the day-to-day management of the Group Resilience Council, resilience issues, and where required any other relevant metrics, Controls compliance, processes and procedures which impact the Resilience of the bank.

What will you be doing?
• Managing, developing and helping a team of three colleagues to deliver against the team and departmental objectives
• Identifying and maturing the scope of governance across resilience to protect and maintain the resilience council(s), data and metrics environment
• Managing and overseeing governance run tasks including; ORAC Issue management
• Delivering the Group Resilience Council agenda, report, minutes and actions
• Working alongside the Policy and Standards team to refine and develop the Controls and the Key Indicator definitions
• Working alongside the Resilience tooling team to drive, review, validate and test key resilience tools which underpin and assist in the governance agenda
• Developing new processes and initiatives as required to expand the governance agenda
• Documenting and refining existing processes for the ongoing implementation of all run tasks

What we're looking for:
• Experienced in Committee secretariat related responsibilities
• Experienced in risk, controls, governance and issue management as well as experienced in interpreting Policy, Standards and Controls
• Experience in managing data quality, reporting and assurance processes
• Effective team leader and collaborative team player

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Background or working knowledge of Operational Resilience, Technology and Supplier Risk
• Background or working knowledge of Governance and Reporting
