Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Resource Forecasting Analyst to be based in Oakland, CA .

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Gathers resource and equipment forecasting supply and demand information by interfacing with Project Managers.
  • Assists with report development and managing of resource forecast information for Districtwide projects.
  • Understands how to analyze data to identify variances and the ability to communicate its root cause and work with the project team to suggest mitigation strategies.
  • Analyzes data from look-ahead schedules.
  • Assists with preparing meeting minutes, correspondence, reports and presentations based on input from the Long-Range Planning and project teams.
  • Assists in creating and updating workflows, job aides, templates, etc.
  • Assists with the maintenance of electronic filing systems (SharePoint).
  • Works with the Long-Range Planning team to facilitate meetings, correspondence, reports, trackers, and other documents.
  • Attends group meetings and other project meetings as required.
  • Collaborates with Operations Planning, Long-Range Planning and other stakeholders as required to coordinate project work and how it will be executed throughout the BART System (i.e. project work can include but is not limited to building and equipment upgrades, replacement in kind, vehicle storage, civil/structural improvements.)

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of scheduling experience on Rail/Transit Projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Excel).
  • Team player, treat others with respect, and be accountable for actions.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to learn the organization's software, programs, and processes promptly.
  • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
  • Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of construction practices and procedures.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in an office environment.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $100,000.00 - $125,000.00.
