What Will I be Doing?

The Manager Restaurant is responsible for supervising all aspects of the restaurant's operations, ensuring a positive dining experience for guests and maintaining profitability. This includes managing staff, seasonal menu implementation, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Staff Management Training, and supervising restaurant staff, including chefs, servers, and hosts. Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback. Managing employee schedules and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Menu Development: Assist in creating and responsible for updating menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and appeal to the target market. Collaborating with the chef to develop new menu items and pricing.
  • Cost Control: Monitoring food and beverage costs and implementing strategies to minimize waste and maximize profitability. Managing inventory and purchasing to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensuring that guests receive outstanding service and a memorable dining experience. Resolving customer complaints and addressing issues promptly.
  • Operations Management: Supervising daily front and back of house operations, including opening and closing procedures. Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and health codes. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Financial Management: Managing the restaurant's budget. Tracking sales and expenses to monitor profitability.

  • Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
  • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


What Are We Looking For:

To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:

  • 5-7 years related experience
  • 3+ years management experience
  • ServSafe Food Handling Certification or similar.
  • Health Card - must be state/county-specific.
  • Food Handler’s Card - must be state/county-specific.
  • Alcohol Awareness Training Certification - must be state/county-specific.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Understanding and adhering to food safety regulations to prevent foodborne illnesses.
  • Menu Development: Creating diverse and appealing menus that cater to various tastes and dietary preferences.
  • Recipe Knowledge: Familiarity with a wide range of recipes and techniques.
  • Food Cost Control: Managing food costs effectively to maintain profitability.
  • Culinary Trends: Staying updated on current culinary trends and innovations.
  • Leadership: Inspiring and motivating a team of chefs, servers, and other staff.
  • Financial Management: Budgeting, cost control, and profit analysis.
  • Problem-Solving: Addressing challenges and issues that arise in the restaurant's operations.
  • Customer Service: Ensuring guest satisfaction through exceptional food quality and service.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills to interact with staff, guests, and management.
  • Customer Service: Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Team Building: Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.


In addition, the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience are preferred:

  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and situations.
  • Technology: Proficiency in using Microsoft office, point of sale, restaurant reservation, and other relevant systems.
