Little League International is looking to hire a full-time in-person Retail Inventory & Warehouse Specialist to join our Retail team in our South Williamsport, PA location. This full-time non-exempt in-person position has core hours of Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and while it is an in-person position, you may be eligible to participate in our Flexible Work Arrangement Program. While most work is done during normal business hours, occasional peaks in workload and special events such as client meetings or calls and as the Little League World Series may require working in the evenings and on weekends. Occasional (< 10%) travel may be required.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE RETAIL INVENTORY & WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST AT LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL

As a Retail Inventory & Warehouse Specialist, you will be responsible foroverseeing all aspects of inventory and warehouse operations, to include receipt, storage, retrieval, and dispatch of goods to the sales floor and E-commerce sales, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will organize all stockroom/warehouse spaces, control inventory, monitor stock levels, implement inventory tracking systems, and conduct regular inventory audits. A positive attitude, team mentality and willingness to learn new things are key in this position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or GED with 3-5 years of retail experience, OR a bachelor's degree in supply chain and Inventory Management, or Logistics, with 1-3 years of retail experience
  • One to three (1-3) years of warehouse and inventory management experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills via phone, email, and in-person
  • Proficiency in MS/ Office, (POS) Point of Sale, and other computer skills relevant to inventory management
  • Knowledge of retail math and ability to calculate discounts, percentages, fractions, with calculator
  • Basic understanding of inventory accounting
  • Knowledge of inventory management best practices
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and management
  • Comfortable with technology and ability to learn inventory and shipping software
  • Ability to evaluate shipping costs and make recommendations for improvements/efficiencies
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Must be able to process, prioritize and complete large work volumes and correctly meet deadlines.
  • Technical ability to perform inventory process and maintain daily stock levels
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Must be able to apply critical thinking to daily tasks
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Positive attitude, team mentality and willingness to learn new things
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety regulatory standards
  • Knowledge of category management principles for effective organization of inventory items
  • E-commerce order fulfillment experience is a plus
  • Shipping and receiving experience
  • Previous experience operating a forklift, work assist lift, pallet jack, and hand trucks
