Job Description:

Position Summary:

Responsibility is to provide direction and support to retail Customer Service Managers and associates to drive exceptional customer service on our front ends and monitor success of store performance, help develop and implement new processes, procedures, and programs to increase productivity, and assist in new and re-model store opening, set-up, training and operations.

What you will do:
  • Build, lead support, and develop teams that oversee our front-end operations in multiple retail locations.
  • Coordinate required training amongst many retail store locations.
  • Identify training opportunities and the needs across the retail organization by partnering with retail store leadership teams.
  • Assure that proper training materials are being used and are consistent throughout the company.
  • Train, develop and grow department leadership in all retail locations.
  • Coach and mentor up and coming future leaders.
  • Work to identify candidates for "Train the Trainer" program.
  • Ensure front end associates are delivering exceptional customer service to our guest.
  • Assure that all alcohol and tobacco compliances are being trained and followed.
  • Work on special projects, remodels, grand opening, acquisitions, new POS systems.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required) in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in Learning, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships across functional areas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with implementing training strategies.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with the ability and credibility to work through all levels of the company as a business partner and change agent.
