The Opportunity

Delaware North Travel and Hospitality is searching for a full-time Retail Porter to join our team at Austin Bergstrom Airport in Austin, Texas. As Retail Porter, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock, preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup, and performing inventory and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Perform transfers of products and merchandise to and from the warehouse
• Receive products and merchandise, check for quality and damage, and ensure proper storage of delivered products and merchandise; perform physical inventory as needed
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Process requests for supplies, prepare merchandise for delivery, and prepare packages for shipping according to established procedures
• Ensure security of company assets

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• One year warehouse experience preferred
• Basic math and counting skills required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout facility; requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 70 pounds
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching, during entire length of shift.
• Exposure to outdoors and variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold depending on the season
