The Sales Manager reports to and supports the Vice President, Experience Sales, and is responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers for the sales team. This role involves generating leads, conducting outbound prospecting, and nurturing relationships with prospective clients. The Sales Manager serves as the first point of contact for potential customers, helping to build the sales pipeline and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation and Prospecting:
  • Conduct research to identify potential leads within the target market.
  • Use various tools and methods (e.g., cold calling, email outreach, social media) to initiate contact with prospects.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and determine their fit with the company's products or services.

Outbound Outreach:
  • Execute outbound sales campaigns to reach new potential customers.
  • Craft personalized messages and communications that resonate with the target audience.
  • Track and manage outreach activities within the CRM system.

Market Research and Analysis:
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on market trends, customer needs, and areas for potential growth.
  • Identify and suggest new ways to reach potential customers.

Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on lead generation strategies.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies.

Reporting and Documentation:
  • Document all interactions with prospects and leads in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular reports on lead generation activities, pipeline status, and conversion rates.
  • Analyze outreach effectiveness and suggest improvements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Previous experience in a sales, telemarketing, or customer service role (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and sales automation tools (Salesforce).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive, results-oriented approach with a strong work ethic.
• Basic understanding of the sales process and lead qualification techniques.
