Responsibilities

Palm Shores is seeking an expereince Revenue Cycle Specialist.

Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center, we are dedicated to providing quality mental health treatment to adolescents aged 11-17 facing various challenges. As a Revenue Cycle Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our organization by managing the revenue cycle process efficiently and effectively.

**Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure accurate and timely medical coding, including DRG and ICD-9/ICD-10 coding.

- Coordiante billing processes to optimize revenue collection.

- Utilize your expertise in medical terminology and coding to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

- Work closely with departments to resolve billing discrepancies and denials promptly.

- Monitor and analyze revenue cycle performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulations related to revenue cycle management.

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: From $23.00 per hour -To promote pay equity, we comply with all applicable laws regarding providing wage or salary range information. Salary offers are based on factors such as education and experience.

Qualifications

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. High School diploma/GED is required.

- Experience (3 years minimum) working in a healthcare (professional) billing, health insurance or equivalent operations work environment.

- Proven experience in medical billing, coding, and collections within a psychiatric or healthcare setting.

- Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes and healthcare reimbursement methodologies.

- Proficiency in using revenue cycle management software.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.

- Physical ability to handle active participation in the revenue cycle process.
