Summary
The Revenue Integrity Analyst will be the primary contact responsible for conducting research billing reviews on a daily basis. Will be responsible for tracking research patients through the designated systems to ensure that all charges are captured, that claim billing requirements are met and in compliance with payer requirements and that accurate payment is received for the research services on HB & PB accounts. Will be responsible to review/audit research patient accounts when notifications or requests are received from the clinical research teams. Will work in collaboration with the CBO billing teams to assist with resolving complex billing and /or reimbursement issues that are associated with a research patients account. Critical to this position is a detailed knowledge of the clinical research processes and its integration with the Revenue cycle functions, including registration, charge capture, coding, billing, collection, utilization management and account balance resolution. The Clinical Research Billing Coordinator must also demonstrate strong organizational, communication, time management and analytical thinking skills. Must have a working knowledge of research billing guidelines to provide guidance on day to day processes to ensure compliance is maintained when changes are required by payers.
