Job Summary

Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our DCT Finance Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a Revenue Integrity Manager! This position is part of a growing Revenue Cycle Management Team and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), State Medicaid (MA), Private Insurance, and other Third-Party Payer rules and regulations related to billing, coding, and documentation standards as well as managing the quality assurance processes to ensure accurate and timely billings.

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Managing the daily operations of the DCT revenue integrity team.
  • Monitoring the requirements of CMS and other payers for policy, procedures, and protocol changes to assure revenue collections are consistent with all rules and regulations.
  • Reviewing coding and billing strategies while implementing quality assurance processes.
  • Understand charge master set up and manage updates and on-going charge master maintenance.
  • Preparing and participate in internal and external audits.
  • Leading revenue integrity continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Providing education and training on revenue integrity best practices, compliance requirements, and changes in billing and coding regulations.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership experience: Leadership experience can include:
  • Experience as a supervisor, lead worker, team lead, project lead;
  • Completion of a State of Minnesota leadership program (e.g., ELI, L4);
  • A paid/unpaid position leading a program or chairing a committee (e.g., Employee Resource Group) - experience must include:
    • 1+ year of experience identifying issues, goals and strategic actions.
    • 100+ hours per year time commitment

AND

Five (5) years of billing, coding, or revenue collection and integrity experience. Experience must include the following:
  • Experience with medical billing, cash posting, and charge entry.
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and understanding statutes, rules, and regulations.
  • Experience researching, solving problems, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Experience communicating complex accounting, collection, and compliance concepts.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, finance, or related field.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT/HCPCs procedure coding.
  • Knowledge of hospital revenue cycle operations.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills sufficient to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Training as a Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CPCR), Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP), or Certified Payment and Reimbursement (CSPR).
