WebstaurantStore, a Clark Associates company, is looking for proactive, detail-oriented candidates who excel in communication to join our growing company as a Reverse Logistics Intern. This role focuses on customer resolutions, resale efforts, cost analysis, and process improvement, and is a key part of growing our business and contributing to the circular economy focus of Reverse Logistics efforts.

Reverse Logistics performs many functions involving communication with customers, vendors, third party partners, and departments within our company to ensure customers receive their preferred resolution promptly while recouping returns costs.

What is Reverse Logistics and how does it fit into the WebstaurantStore business model?

Reverse Logistics is defined as; Moving a product/asset from one point of use to the next. Returns are unavoidable in any e-commerce market, and Reverse Logistics supports a circular economy approach for WebstauratStore. This is done by identifying the quickest refund approach for our customers, redeployment of valued assets through a variety of resale platforms, and environmentally conscious scrapping and recycling.

As a Reverse Logistics Intern you will:

  • Make and execute decisions regarding the best way to resolve customer resolutions for both stock and drop-ship inventory
  • Review, process, and post resale items through a variety of sales platforms
  • Shadow other team members to gain knowledge in all areas of the department including our training and QA specialists
  • Communicate with internal sources such as accounting to ensure effective resolution fulfillment
  • Get hands-on experience with newly formulated internal development systems that supports Webstaurants returns process and needs
  • Projects such as improving processes with customers, vendors, internal systems, and our data

Remote work qualifications
