On behalf of one of our clients: Procom Services is looking for a Senior Consultant with deep expertise in deploying and managing Red Hat OpenStack Platform (OSP) 16. for a 3 month plus remote contract with extnensions likely.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructures using OpenStack, with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and security. As a Senior Consultant, you will work directly with clients to deliver tailored OpenStack solutions, ensuring successful deployments and seamless integration with other systems.

RH Openstack Platform (OSP) 16 Sr Consultant Job Details
You will be responsible for leading OSP 16 deployments, troubleshooting complex issues, and providing best practice recommendations for managing OpenStack environments. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams, providing technical guidance, and ensuring the successful delivery of cloud infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, deployment, and management of Red Hat OpenStack Platform (OSP) 16 environments for various clients.
- Provide hands-on expertise in the configuration and administration of OpenStack services, including Compute (Nova), Networking (Neutron), and Storage (Cinder, Swift).
- Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure scalability, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to OSP 16 deployments, providing guidance to clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their infrastructure needs and develop customized OpenStack solutions.
- Ensure the successful integration of OpenStack environments with other cloud and on-premises systems.
- Provide mentorship and technical support to junior team members and clients.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in Red Hat OpenStack technologies and share knowledge within the team.

RH Openstack Platform (OSP) 16 Sr Consultant Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of experience in deploying and managing Red Hat OpenStack Platform, with a focus on version 16.
- Strong knowledge of OpenStack services (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Swift, Keystone, Horizon, etc.) and their configuration.
- Experience in designing and deploying scalable, high-availability OpenStack environments.
- Expertise in cloud networking and storage solutions, including SDN, VLAN, and Ceph storage.
- Proficiency in Linux (RHEL preferred) administration and scripting.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible and Red Hat Satellite.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving performance, scalability, and security issues in OpenStack environments.
