Position Summary
The Corporate Compliance Coordinator is responsible for assigning, tracking and analyzing compliance concerns and suspected violations of the Standard/Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, and applicable laws or regulations reported through the Genesis Integrity Line, Genesis Dialogue Line, Genesis Employee Relations Line and all other direct methods. The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for intake and routing potential non-compliance issues to appropriate field individuals for investigation or review as required and monitoring the investigative process through completion. This position maintains the disclosure and investigation database and prepares data reports. The Compliance Coordinator must maintain thorough knowledge of corporate and subsidiary organizational structure, standards, policies and procedures. Strict confidentiality is required. Frequent interaction with the Law, Human Resources, Risk Management and Compliance departments as well as all levels of corporate and subsidiary management is required.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities
1. Reviews incoming compliance issues, identifies concerns, evaluates response required and routes to the appropriate field investigator.
2. Immediately advises the Corporate Compliance Director of significant issues of concern.
3. Maintains a central, confidential repository of disclosure program reports and records.
4. Collaborates with database vendor on system modifications.
5. Advises Corporate Compliance Director as well as corporate and subsidiary management on issues and trends that require attention.
6. Works closely with Corporate Compliance Director regarding case status and closure.
7. Provides case status reports for review by the Director, VP of Compliance and field investigators.
8. Uses knowledge and judgment to make case initial closure decisions and write closure summations.
9. Provides ad hoc reports as requested by field investigators, internal departments, and other external parties.
10. Provides system user training on the confidential disclosure program database as necessary.
11. Demonstrates care, compassion, and diligence to ensure that all internal and external customers consistently receive the highest quality service.

Qualifications:

Specific Educational/Vocation RequirementsBachelor Degree in healthcare field, social work, human resources, business, law, or related field. Related work experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements.
