Job Description:
  • PURPOSE OF JOB: The goal of the Risk Assistant is to support the Risk Manager by reporting events to the Pennsylvania Patient Safety Authority. This position requires working knowledge of pharmacology and med orders to interpret errors and possible consequences of those errors. This piece requires critical thinking that would be unique to an individual with RN experience.
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
  • Interpretation of event reporting.
  • Data entry.
Job Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Other Skills: General medical knowledge, comprehension of hospital operations, working knowledge of liability concerns, proven leadership and evidence of team participation.
