The Prime Video Trust and Safety team ensures that Prime Video is a place for viewers, and creators around the world to belong, create, and express themselves. Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the front lines of enhancing the Prime Video experience and protecting customer experience in our ever-evolving digital world.
As a Risk Manager, Policy Operations, you are responsible for leading a team of Policy Operations Specialists, while collaborating with policy, program, engineering, legal and other teams to prevent violating content from appearing on the Prime Video platform. Your team of associates will evaluate abuse trends and quality, and develop workflows and processes that maintain our quality/ community guidelines. Your teams will review decisions about the appropriateness of different content, including considerations of cultural and political sensitivities.
*This role will require on-call work on weekends on a rotational basis.
Key job responsibilities
As a Risk Manager, Policy Operations, you are responsible for leading a team of Policy Operations Specialists along with working with Policy, Program, Engineering, Legal and other teams to prevent violating content from appearing on Prime Video. Your teams will define new operational processes that require high judgement and build mechanisms to scale those processes across the global operations team.
To be successful in this role you'll need to be well organized, assisting multiple Trust and Safety teams with different issues at any one time. Technically savvy with an interest in compliance quality content moderation, your verbal and written communication skills should be excellent, being able to clearly explain issues and the paths to resolution quickly and succinctly to the catalog associates. Your commitment to the success of our Trust & Safety org should be strong and you should have a proven record of exceeding on input/output goals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior management/supervisory experience (5+ direct reports)
- Professional experience working in Trust & Safety, Risk, or Compliance
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products & applications
- Proficient writing and speaking skills in English
- Clear and effective communication and negotiation skills
- Navigate objections and manage external and internal partners in a professional manner
- Able to work flexible hours/rotational shifts
- Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of related professional experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in organization-wide initiatives that deliver direct business impact globally
- Experience managing large teams (50+)
- Experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation/rating, data labeling, or other compliance functions
- Experience managing content policy operations teams
- Experience partnering with global teams
- Business-level writing and speaking skills in French, German, Italian, or Dutch
- Extensive data analysis skills
- Experience identifying abuse trends or working in news or policy with passion for international issues, including freedom of expression, online controversial content, misinformation etc.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Self-starter, intellectually curious and creative individual comfortable operating in ambiguity
