The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Ambulatory Center - Daytona

The role you'll contribute:

Responsible for directing, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of the operating functions, processes, and staff of the facility while demonstrating the primary goals of providing safe and efficient surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

The value you'll bring to the team:
  • Provide leadership and support in the developing and maintaining effective relationships with leadership, parent companies, managing entity, medical staff, the center staff, vendors and all who enter the Surgery Center.
  • Meets quarterly or as needed with the President/Chair of the Governing Board, monthly or as needed with the COO, and weekly or as needed with the Medical Director and other key stakeholders.
  • Confers with the managing entity as Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), Quality and Safety Director, Safety Officer and Human Resources when necessary.
  • Maintains visibility by staff and physicians during clinical activities at the Surgery Center.
  • Develop, monitor and control the purchasing plan to stay within the proposed budget and maintain compliance with group purchasing initiatives.
  • Negotiate and control all external contracts, such as those with physicians, ancillary services, plant maintenance, and purchasing agreements.
  • Review pricing for cash-based procedures to ensure profitability.


Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an ambulatory surgery center setting with demonstrated leadership abilities and appropriate decision making with a history of positive interpersonal relationships with leadership, internal and external stakeholders, staff, patients and visitors
  • Minimum of two years of previous experience as an Administrator of an Ambulatory Surgery Center or equivalent required
  • Current license to practice as an RN in the State of Florida
