CLINCAL NURSE SPECIALIST
SURGICAL ICU
Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm
No holidays/weekends

Requirements:

• Clinical expertise in a focus area: Critical Care

• Evidence-Based Practice

• Collaboration, consultation, education, mentoring, and change leadership

• Coordinates and guides clinical activities/projects of nurses within a practice area (Critical Care)

• Responsible for maintaining current professional knowledge and competencies and contributing to the advancement of the practice of nursing at the local and national level

• Master's degree in Nursing (Graduated preparation must have included clinical application of the CNS role component) Minimum of three to five years of clinical experience and expertise in specialty area

Preferred:

• Board certification as a CNS in current clinical specialty
