Schedule: Full Time

Shift : Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm / Friday 7am - 1pm

The role you'll contribute:

Performs a wide variety of professional nursing care activities, multitask and accommodates services for the physicians and the practice, following established standards, practices, policies and procedures. Candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to give and evaluate patient care. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care to age specific groups identified in the direct care responsibilities , utilizing the nursing process (assessing , planning , implementing , and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the department.

  • Triage and treat cancer-related issues
  • Input chem treatment orders per the ordering physician
  • Coordinate chemo treatment start and stop appointments with infusion center
  • Give supportive resources/ education to the patient and family members on treatment and side effects
  • Access ports (port flush & blood draw)


Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications :
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
  • Current, valid Florida State of Board Nursing Registered Nursing License.
  • BLS Certified
  • 1+ years of professional nursing experience
  • Port Flush experience

Preferred qualifications:
  • Bachelors of Nursing
  • Physican office experience
